All three members of the Presidential Council, President Jalal Talabani, Vice President Adel Abdul Mahdi, and Vice President Tariq al-Hashemi approved the Iraqi election bill passed by parliament on December 6, 2009. It is now law. The new date for the vote is March 6, 2010.
