Christians Celebrating Palm Sunday In Iraq


While Iraq’s Christian community has been under attack since 2003 from various Islamist groups, there are still vibrant communities left in the country. Kurdistan has one of the largest. Pictured below are Christians celebrating Palm Sunday on March 31, 2012, in the city of Irbil, in Irbil province.
