Iraq Receives Refugees From Syria


Iraq still has a huge internal and external refugee problem dating back to the Saddam years, and made worse by the civil war that lasted from 2005-2008. Now with unrest in neighboring Syria, the country is receiving refugees from that country. Below are pictures of Syrian Kurds in a camp set up in Zakho in Dohuk, northern Iraq’s Kurdistan.
