Are these student, looks to me they are to young talking about these subjects?
Do they have any idea about Islam and ME?
The woman talking is Marisa Cochrane and the other is Kimberly Kagan from the Institute for the Study of War. They're not students.
Sorry for the short responses before. Have more time to respond now. The woman doing the presentation is doing it based upon a paper she wrote for the Institute for the Study of War. She's the deputy director there and has written several reports about the Shiite militias in Iraq. She worked with the U.S. military in Iraq before.
The other woman who was the organizer is Kimberly Kagan who is the found and president of the institute. She's taught at West Point, Yale, Georgetown and the American University, has written a couple books, and worked with the military in Afghanistan.
Marisa Cochrane Sullivan
"she won a civilian service award for her research and writing on the implementation of the Status of Forces Agreement, Provincial Elections, and other major issues."
Ohhhh………. poor Iraqis what written for them ……………….. just like Iraqi institution written by Noah Feldman
The Two Faces of Kimberly Kagan

Kimberly Kagan looks dating with "Qassem Suleimani), the commander of the IRGC’s Quds Force"

Is she also Irainian proxy in Iraq!
Let us read the comment by Alan:
The "surge" was the brainchild of Kristol and Kagan, at least publicly – meaning I wouldn't dismiss the possibility that someone in Israel came up with it and Kristol then presented the idea in the Weekly Standard. Then Kagan and a few others went to the White House and did that PowerPoint presentation to Bush. Then Bush decided to go for it. This is all in the public record. See for example:
http://www.atimes.com/atimes/Middle_East/HL22Ak01.html
Then we had Kimberly Kagan (supposedly) writing the glorious "surge" reports for the Weekly Standard and the Wall Street Journal.
Now we have Freedom Watch running those ridiculous ads in support of the "surge". And it has been reported who is behind this.

Wow, let's hear it for the conspiracy theories.
Yes, the Institute was a strong supporter of the Surge, and the U.S. military presence in Iraq.
The link about Gen. Suleimani has nothing to do with Kagan other than she's telling how Suleimani contacted Gen. Petraeus during the fighting in Basra, which is a well known story.
The Surge was pushed by Robert Kagan, who is not Kimberly Kagan, and the last one about the Freedom Watch appears to be off point as well.
How about addressing the report about the Sadrist movement. Do you have any problems with it? Did you listen to it? Or are you just desperately searching Google for anything and everything whether it's relevant or not?
You know what; the Sadrist movement an idol guy surrounded by filthy stupid men live on living from crimes and theft. This the your “smart” lady talking about.
Who is the “Sadrist movement” US make it just as other militias Daawa, Fadilah, or Hezbollah all came with your invasion. Hay man these guys are gangster not less not more. So shy get us believe doing study of these mongers buggers.
Go get live man.
As for the surge, what she done in fact brought from Israelis & hero deployment:
John Negroponte- Robert S. Ford. The Iraq “Salvador Option”
In January 2005, following Negroponte’s appointment as US ambassador to Iraq, the Pentagon confirmed in a story leaked to Newsweek that it was “considering forming hit squads of Kurdish and Shia fighters to target leaders of the Iraqi insurgency in a strategic shift borrowed from the American struggle against left-wing guerrillas in Central America 20 years ago”. (El Salvador-style ‘death squads’ to be deployed by US against Iraq militants – Times Online, January 10, 2005)
Ignited civil war, death squad and killing of civilians spread havoc all sort of crimes all that was under “the surge” name.
As for Google we don’t think that your do blogging in classic way, you using Google to get your info why you accuse other about it?
Looks naïve and odd, isn’t?
Btw, you blog dead looks how many comment got and interaction with the readers…
Yes, I agree the Sadrists were made up of a lot of bad people.
My comment about you googling had to do with the fact that your three posts had no relevance at all. It looked like you went fishing and posted everything you found.
Finally, I would love to have more comments, but I get 200-300 hits per day, I get mentioned on other blogs and on news sites and think tanks so I can't complain.
