The end of major fighting has allowed Iraqi students and athletes to return to their training. Below are photos of people working out at the track at Baghdad University. Included are Adnan Taess, who will represent Iraq in the 2012 London Olympics.

Adnan Taess is on the left in the front. He fled Iraq during the civil war, but has since returned. He is currently training for the 2012 Olympics as seen here at Baghdad University, Feb. 27, 2012. He won a silver medal in the men's 800 meters at the 2010 Asia Games in China. He told Reuters that Iraq lacks the facilities to properly prepare athletes for the Olympics. (Retuers)
