Iraq Back To Last Year’s Oil Exports Average

Iraq’s oil exports largely remained unchanged by revenues dipped in August.

 

Last month Iraq exported an average of 3.38 million barrels a day. That was largely unchanged from July. The country has been able to return to last year’s average of 3.3 million after OPEC+ production quotas were loosened.

 

International prices were down however driving down the country’s profits. In August it made $6.95 billion. That was compared to $7.18 billion in July. For five out of eight months Iraq has been making around $6 billion compared to an average of $8 billion in 2024.
